This week we kicked off a new series called Joie de Vivre. It's a french phrase which means "the joy of life or the joy of living." In a time in history where joy seems so distant, I think this is going to be a well embraced walk through of the book of Philippians. A lot of the times we read the Bible and think it was easy for them to write such positive stuff because they had it all together. But this book truly stands as a testament that even in the midst of heart ache and struggle, joy can be found. I look forward to seeing the discussions that spring up in our cell groups as we search for joie de vivre.
