A New Year = New Groups for You!

This is a great next step for you to take in the New Year. And because we really believe that, we're launching lots of new Life Groups, Discovery Groups and Restore Groups in locations near you. So there is no reason for you to stay unconnected. There are so many new friendships, new experiences and next steps with God awaiting you in the New Year!

Getting grouped is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step 1 - Click the group logo's on the right and find a group that works for you.
Step 2 - Email the group leader's if you have any further questions.
Step 3 - Click "Register" on the right and enter your information. Within a week the group leader will reach out to you to make sure you have all the right information about the group.

That's it. Now you are making a great next step with God to connect weekly with his people and grow.

Get Signed Up for the 2009 Fall Test Drive

Friends don't let friends stay un-grouped at 2|42 - get yourself and your friends registered for the upcoming Fall Test Drive. We're challenging every un-grouped person at 2|42 to give group life a 12 week test drive.

Already grouped? Good! Now pass the info along. You're our ambassador, carrying the message of what being in a small group has meant for you.

Not grouped? Here's your chance! Find out more about each type of small group we offer here at 2|42 by clicking their logo's to the right. We offer Life Groups that unpack the Sunday morning message themes through study and discussion. We also have Discovery Groups, they are focused on specific topics like finance, marriage and biblical history. And we also now offer Restore Groups which address life's challenges like grief, body image, addiction and recovery.

You are hereby knighted...Life Group Leaders

And so it officially begins - we must make the transition from Cell Groups and Cell Leaders to Life Groups and Life Group Leaders.

In the coming weeks the look and feel for this blog will change, but that's not all. We'll be promoting all three types of groups at 2|42, registering new group members in the lobby on Sundays and getting used to the new database. We've got a lot going on!

So I hope you are as excited as I am about what God has for us in the coming months. So be ready to invite new people and feel free to help man the Connections booth to answer questions and help people take next steps!

I've attached the instructions to update your group in the database under the Resources to your right. I'll follow up with you in a week or two if you haven't had a chance to update your group yet and see if I can help.
